Updated cocktail – The Vesper

Created by Ian Fleming, the Vesper was introduced in the 1953 novel Casino Royale by 00 agent James Bond and revisited in the 2006 film Casino Royale.  The book and the film are very similar with the intro of this inspired cocktail.

Mad Men style at Steuben’s

If you like the AMC series Mad Men, stop here because everything about Steuben’s on E. 17th Ave., in Denver, CO is retro.  Featured on Diner, Drive-ins and Dives, the place oozes the old school vibe. The building is an old auto repair shop. The food is from everywhere and more importantly the booze selection is huge.  For the purposes of this post let’s use booze, libations, hooch, canned heat, hard stuff, firewater, etc.
